Upon payment in full, the CLIENT enrolls in Marriage Helper’s (MH) three-day workshop for marriages (hereinafter referred to as “WORKSHOP”). In certain packages, Marriage Coaching is included with the WORKSHOP purchase, with a Certified Marriage Helper Coach®.
WORKSHOP packages are non-refundable. The CLIENT may transfer from an online workshop to an in-person workshop (or vice versa) as well as to a different workshop date for up to one year from date of purchase. After one year from the date of purchase additional charges may apply. If CLIENT cancels/reschedules their WORKSHOP less than 48 hours prior to the WORKSHOP start date, a $250 change fee will be incurred.
If Coaching was purchased in the package, the Coaching sessions may be utilized up to 1 year from the date of purchase.
The CLIENT hereby acknowledges that neither the WORKSHOP nor Coaching are counseling or therapy. The CLIENT further acknowledges the scope of experience and research of Marriage Helper stated below.
Upon final and complete payment of a WORKSHOP package, the CLIENT will be entitled to Zero (0), three (3), or six (6) Coaching sessions of approximately 50 minutes each with a Certified Marriage Helper Coach® in order to implement and discuss WORKSHOP principles specific to their marriage, depending on which WORKSHOP package is purchased. The Coaching sessions will be by telephone or video at the discretion of the Coach. The sessions will be scheduled by the Coach and the CLIENT at convenient times for CLIENT and Coach. Although some of our coaches are certified counselors, they will be acting in a coaching capacity only.
All content digital or written included in this package is copyrighted by MH International et al and is intended for the private and personal use of the permitted viewer(s). The "permitted viewer(s)" would be the individual(s) who have agreed to the terms and conditions as stipulated in this document and have registered their names to participate in the event. Digital video/transcription recording of online/in person workshops is strictly prohibited, including the use of AI recording software.
For a Personal Path workshop (online or in-person), the permitted viewer is the registered CLIENT only. For a Couple's Path workshop the permitted viewers are the registered CLIENT and his/her spouse only. Should someone other than the "permitted viewer(s)" be present at the time of the scheduled event, the CLIENT will be disconnected/removed from the event.
Any other use or retransmission of this content, including but not limited to, recordings, reproductions of and/or online postings of video/written content, without MH International's written consent, is prohibited and may subject you to personal liability for the violation of MH International's or others' rights.
CLIENT acknowledges and agrees the WORKSHOP, in portion or in whole, may be recorded and transcripts created for evaluation and training purposes. Video of the Facilitator presenting the WORKSHOP material may be used for other purposes and participants will not be included in these excerpts.
This Contract is to be deemed as having been executed in the State of Tennessee and is to be interpreted, construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any claim or cause of action arising under this Contract may be brought only in the federal and state courts located in Williamson County, Tennessee, and the CLIENT hereby irrevocably consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
Marriage Helper serves engaged/married/divorced/common law, heterosexual couples because that has been the focus of our team’s research, experience and skills. We do not have any experience or research with the following situations: Abusive relationships, suicidal thoughts, severe mental illness (bipolar, extreme personality disorders, and the like), dating relationships, or same-sex marriages. We have a list of resources and organizations that we refer individuals towards who are looking for help in these areas.
